Garmin Rino 520 question

I also posted this on the hunting board.

My son and I are going to get a couple of these.

I see a rino 520 and a 520 hcx.
The only difference I see is the hcx has a high sensitivity reciever.Does it really work that much better?I can get the 520 for about $265. the hcx is at least $100 more.

Any input folks?

the hcx will get you a bit more reception in tree cover and i think its more accurate to something like 10'

I own a 530.... I think the only diff is that it has the Weather info....
Has come in Handy when fishing. Look into these as well, the prices have come down comporable to the 520's. Bought mine online through walmart. The prices are lower than msrp, so they do not list them, you have to add it to your basket first. (Not purchase). It will then list the price. Good Luck.

I have the Garmin 60cx. The newer Antenna they have is Worth it. I no longer have to worry about lost signals, in the deep dark Jungle. Depends your needs.
