Question Any Garibaldi Salmon Reports

I'm going to head down Friday and make a weekend out of it I think... salmon, halibut, tuna, crabs = too much fun! Anyone have some good salmon reports you can post or PM - what depth. Two weeks ago we hammered the fish and I would love to see a repeat as one of my crew members is a Tunagin and a Salmongin!

Plan right now is for butts, tuna then salmon on the way back in... any numbers, help, directions and prayers would be appreciated!

Fished yesterday and didn't do as well as we hoped. Ended up with 2 clipped fish 1 nate and just a few drive bys for four rods.Talked with some others and seems they had about the same results. Should of been here last week!! Fished as deep as 300ft and as shallow as 180ft. The good news was the ocean was flat. By the end of the day I was in a T-shirt, it was beautiful. Caught our fish on whole herring on a rsk with green fin and some on hochies. Should be good the rest of the week as I am stuck at work! Good luck!!

Shane,
We will be there saturday and sunday.....monitoring 14. May run out for tuna but most likely salmon and crabbing. I'll hail you on the radio if we get into the salmon thick.

Anybody running the surf line for nooks??

AL

Had some pals out yesterday and the fishing was slow...they worked the 200' line and the 240 line.

Good sea bass report and crab report...limits of both.

There are no fish in Garibaldi. Just Pesto and the mob on the ramp. And Guedo Hosner the informant.

If you're doing hali before tuna don't forget about the 1 rod per angler law. Heard from a few that the salmon has been slow. Had a friend out yesterday with 2 nates to the boat but nothing for the grill.

I thought that the one rod per angler rule had to do with having salmon on board and not Halibut but I could be wrong.

fished mon, tues & wed; plugged herrng, n of nehalem 200 -250 ft of water, some red flashers seemed better than all silver, 25 - 35 pulls did better than 15 -21, moved alot, finished yesterday @ 175 ft just n of tips in cooler water (water rose to 65 @ 260ft); 3 rods, boated 30 fish kept 11 used 6 dozen herrng in 3 days, lots of drive by's, salmongin lost a big chinook when his knot snapped... if you catch a chinookk with a red diver and weird fish looking flasher, I'd like the flasher back; maybe going again this weekend...tougher seas on Tuesday than predicted flattttt yesterday
