Q: On a sunny day, two fathers and two sons went fishing. Each one of them caught one fish. When they went home, there were only three fishes, why?

They are fisherman. Of course the real fish don't nessecarily add up to the story from their fishing.

one father, two sons. The father is a father to each son, therefore technically there would be two fathers.
Just another perspective, but the Grandpa, his son, and grandson was my first guess as well.

Was one of them a religious father? Wait, could that be? Could one actually be a "Father" and a fisherman as well? What about all the fishin' stories?
