Just call me Robin Hood...
...because I went out to fling a couple arrows this afternoon and creamed another arrow. This was at 20 yards, so it's not a super spectacular shot, but it's my first and I thought it was kinda cool. Plus I just had to brag to someone! The only bad part is that I destroyed an arrow. Oh well that's the price I pay for shooting at the same spot.
Here's a couple pics too:

The first one is always cool. The second you begin to realize that you just destroyed a $10 arrow. Not as cool anymore.
 Congrats on a good group.

well said. although the old aluminum arrows always had a cool look to them, must be the way they are made. anyway keep it, i still have my first, and it makes a great conversation piece. all my other "robin hoods" i have had make me cringe, my finances are too tight! again nice shootin!

Re: Just call me Robin Hood...
I saw that show and they were using a really out dated bow. I think they would have done better with a newer bow at a long distance to allow for more kinetic energy. Just my
Congrats on the Robin hood. I quit shooting at the same bullseye. $10 a crack is a bit steep.

Call me when you Robin Hood your Robin Hood! Just kidding, I know its cool for your 1st one, but I agree with BB, it gets expensive when you shoot tight groups like that!

Good shot! The first one is always pretty cool. Did my first one last year and done it twice since. I dont shoot at the same dot any more, gets expensive. Congratulations!

Re: Just call me Robin Hood...
I have hit an honest 3 of them now. Like others have said the first time is cool, the second time you start thinking about the cost per shot, the third time you no longer shoot at a single target. Still they are always amazing to me. Especially when you get a really clean hit on the nock. One of mine actually split the nock but didn't break it half and it was still attached to the shaft.

Re: Just call me Robin Hood...
We have an "arrow tree" at my dads house with about $400 worth of split arrows. I wont shoot twice at the same bull any more.

Re: Just call me Robin Hood...
The most memorable of my 4 was robbinhooding my friends arrow at about 45 yards right in the kill at a 3-d shoot.
