Default iPhone Reviews?

After a 11-year marriage with Voicestream/T-mobile, I'm ready to move on...

My wife switched back to AT&T and loves her Treo 750. I'm thinking about getting the iPhone.

Any thoughts...reviews...raves....comments...complaint s???

Thanks,
Alan

I got one. I've been saving since they first announced it.

I can now do away with my laptop!

I absolutely ADORE my iphone!

I use it for everything. I can check on my e mail and check ifish.net. I can't wait to do on the water reports!

I can't really help you with anything out of the Tillamook area on internet range, but here it is great!

At home, I can plug into my network, and it was so easy. Found it and hooked in!

Everything is SO easy. The blackberries scare me. They look so confusing. Everything you do on the iphone is EZEE as pie! You need no big manual!

You absolutely need a case. I still don't have one and I'm so afraid I'll drop it. The little suckers are slippery! I'm sure I'll drop it someday, or someone will. I handle it very firmly.

The screen tends to get greased up, which is bad for me.

The reason I got it, was so that I could see it, and so I don't have to lug my laptop around, due to my lifting restrictions. It's GREAT for both!

I also used it to find directions to places. That is SO cool!

And-- I can watch my tv shows on it in bed, cuz I can't see the TV so well. I abs love it! Adore it! It's a toy! It's a tool! It's my everything!

Jen

I love mine too!
It does averything I need it to do and more.
I loaded over 1200 songs on mine and I've subscribed to several free video podcasts. It has a really cool photo album thats fun to flip through. I check my stocks all the time on it and I can keep and eye on ifish during the day too. I think at least two of my friends that I've shown it to in the past week are going to get one also. If your thinking about getting one I'd recommend watching the 20 minute video at apple.com.
The only bad thing I have to say about it is that the headphone jack is recessed and only works with the headphones that come with it unless you purchase a $20 adapter for it. I guess I'll buy it because I'd like better headphones and I want to hook it up to my stereo at work.

Yeah, and you can't hook it up to your radio in your car yet, either.

They say that the iphone was designed to be like a six year old designed it. Everything just makes sense. It does!

I find that it was totally worth the money for me. I can finally see what I'm doing.

The phone dialing keys are HUGE... almost like they were made for the visually impaired.

Warning: Everywhere I go, people say, "ohhhhhhhhh is that the iphone? Let me see.....!" and then I've lost mine for 15 minutes.

Thing is, I don't mind. They can't screw it up and you don't have to tell them how to use it. Everyone just figures it out, like I did!

If a 6 year old designed it...I could probably use it...it will be awhile before I get one of those...by the time I may be able to get one...we will be on to something smaller and even better??

I got the 8 gig which is good because I've got less than 3 gigs left.

I would get it except for the Verizon friends and family plan. ALL my family and friends have Verizon.

I bought the wife one. She was the only one in the house without an iPod and her last phone finally broke down. She was using an older one we had hanging around.

It is a really cool phone. There are a few kinks as with any device. I'm having trouble keeping it hooked up to the wireless network at home and the ringer isn't very loud. It's not a PDA replacement but other than that, pretty cool.

My contract is up in a couple of months and I'm trying to decide if I get an iPhone or a Treo (PDA phone). I don't care about the 24/7 internet access although it is nice, It's not worth the additional $30/mo (yu can get Treos without the internet access).

As I use my iPod a lot, I'm leaning towards the iPhone.

I barely squeaked by with the 4. I've never owned an ipod, so it's all new to me!

I hear it blends OK.

Mmmmmm....iSmoke.

Definitely don't get the iRack. Too unstable.

I personally won't ever own an apple product. Overpriced. Too much flash, too little substance. Freaky cult following I don't want to be identified with. Lots of subversive tactics to try to prevent free enterprise. Not for me.

Jennie search for a site called shieldzone, they make screen protectors that stick on and will protect the screen so you dont scratch it up.

One other negative that I forgot to add is that niether Apple or AT&T is offering iPhone insurance for repair or loss. Knowing how SWMBO likes to drop things, I've been sweating that since we bought the thing. A protective case is mandatory in my opinion.
