Re: My backyard elk....
I need to get out shooting at blue lake range, with only 3 weeks left. I can feel it in my blood, the time is upon us soon.....
I need to re-fletch my arrows too!!!
I am thinking about heading to blue lake park range in 2 sundays from now. That would be the 12th, if anyone wants to practice with me. Will be afternooner for me. More later if interest comes about.

200 yards, maybe 250?
They were out again Saturday morning, but it was overcast and too dark for pics.
I wonder what the herd bull looks like? I've been seeing several herds this summer. Before Friday evening the only bull I'd seen was a small spike with a dozen cows and calves. There weren't any calves in this bunch? But maybe the lion I saw a week ago has eliminated all the youngsters?
I need another trailcam, too many places to cover!

Re: My backyard elk....
A friend of mine at work who lives not too far from you saw 60 last week in a field near his home, or so he says. Cool pics. Maybe I should go hang a stand in my buddies back yard. Think you could chase those boys a little North of you for me???
