I was in Lincoln 3 weeks ago and just happened to see one just like that. He was about 2 miles north of town belly deep in a swamp so it was hard to tell his true height. My photos came out pretty lousy since he was doing his best to stay in the shade.
I e-mailed these photos to my contact in Lincoln to see if they could verify them. Could not be positive but sounded like this could be the same "local" bull they all know.

When the rut starts I don't think that he'll be near town...... most likely in closer proximity to the rest of the moose in the near by wilderness...
