I fished out of Chinook Landing today for steelies...Nothing...Didn't see One other fish hooked either! We fished in 3-4 different places and at varying depths......NOTHING.

The Jet Skiers were like mosquitoes...so we left!

I fished near the 205 bridge on Mon and Tue. Hooked 2 on Mon, landed 1 (native 15# released it safely)the other broke my leader and caught 1 yeasterday 12# fin clipped . This was the first time I've fished for steelhead on the Columbia river. Thanks to everone for all the great advice.

Dustin,

Looked a little windy and rough at the picket fence today. I cruised by it about 06:30 after taking a look at the boat show at the mouth of the Lewis. Nice crowd....anyone do any good in that pack of fishers?

Decided to go up river a couple miles and find a place out of the wind and "alone".

Caught 1 clipped 10 pounder.

Nice day except for a wind chop that made running fast a little rough with a jet boat and the crowd at the ramp was entertaining.

Bill

Fished the mouth of the Lewis today. Hooked three and landed one 12lb clipped. A little windy and fishing was slow for the amount of boats fishing.

Also fished the mouth of the Lewis today, had two takedowns and a nice one on....spit the hook right at the boat.

Slapstick, Thanks for the post!

Looked like a lot of boats in there today. Did many fish get caught?

That wind was a little nasty today. I was happy to find a place around the corner that was sheltered and also fishy.

Rags,
Sounds like you had a great time!!! Who did you go with? Sounds as though the Ocean is the place to be. Hope to get there soon.
Maybe Snapshot and Golfpro could go out with you? Have fun.

SlapStick,
I probably saw you out there. What boat were you in? NoPilgram. You need to make that long journey over so we can slay the silvers.
