Late sturgeon report

Fished out of Hamond on Thurs. evening for about 3 hours with no luck. Moved up river on Friday and spent the day around Tounge point, 5 to the boat, 3 shakers, 46" & 48". Sandshrimp and anchovie sandwich in about 30' of water. Sat. stayed in one spot just off the chanel at Tounge point. 12 to the boat, one keeper, 46". Same bait as the day before. Talked to some of the guides Saturday afternoon, they did very well farther up river with limits being the norm. Stoped in the gorge on the way home and fished Beacon rock area, one shaker, we did however see 3 oversized hooked. All and all it was a great weekend. Heading out Sunday for a week with the family at Barview Co. Park, Crabbing, mabey some salmon, time with my wife and kids......life is good.
