Help Name Dan!'s Boat
Ifish saltwater nut Dan! could use some help naming his boat. It doesn't have one and I think it's got the kind of 'character' that deserves to have a name written on it [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] . I can't give you all the sordid details, but here are some to help inspire some candidates: It is a 22' Searay deep V hardtop; it is close to as old as Dan is; it has a small hole in the hull that he repaired using duct tape (on both sides though!); the newly rebuilt motor runs sometimes; it's slowest trolling speed is fast enough that Dan's outrigger ball was 'skiing' on the surface; it lists right even with me sitting over on the left when on plane [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] bad enough that Dan just keeps running huge clockwise circles until he gets out and then back into port; it never ever catches keepers in the morning hours; remember this one ... it catches small chinook; it has a huge electric loudspeaker on the front deck so Dan can yell "where the fish are bitting" and boats can hear it for up to a 1 mile radius! (embarrassing); peeing on the floor is allowed; even with GP coordinates it takes forever to find it's crab traps; ... but it's captain is a really good guy! So, help us with some name suggestions. Mine are .....

Well, Good luck Dan, I hope whatever you decide to name your boat - it's a lucky one. Our old boat growing up was "Smokey Blue" and all that boat ever did was billow out blue smoke. My dad thought that the color was cool and the thought of smokey and the bandit. So even though his intent was a good one it sort of back-fired on him [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] Ha! Ha!
