Default tenmile lakes

does anyone know how fishing has been on both the north and south lake. According to the ODFW the weed and algea growth has been very high this year. So does that mean it is still easily fishable, or not. Also, since this would be my first time there, I would appreciate any info on lures or places.

Thanks,
ADAM

It's my lake, I'm not telling. Actually I was last there on memorial day and I only fished my family property on the creek. I was able to catch some big bluegill and some smallish bass and crappie on the bug rod. You should still have no problem finding fish on the lake. Try topwater bass fishing on Coleman or Lindross arm at and just after dusk. That's how I've caught most of my big bass on the lake. If you want catfish go up templeton templeton arm in the main arm or try the deepest spot you can find off willow point. I really haven't fished there consistently for 9 years, but those were to go to spots when I was growing up and I imagine things haven't changed. There weren't crappy when I was growing up so I don't know exactly where to find them. Let me know how you do. TH, anything I've left off?

The alge is as bad as I have ever seen it.
We have a place on North lake, by the old Camp Easter Seals place. The water level is low, but the main problem is the exteremly high weed level, (due tolack of high water and poor die off over the winter months.)
Fishing has been ok however, I have not been out very much, but have heard of some good reports.

I heard someone was busted with boxes of crappie, bass, etc. in a non-private pond near Tenmile. Anybody know what happened?
