Default Sandy River Report

I drifted from Oxbow to Lewis and Clark on Saturday. I hooked and lost 1 drifting jigs - but saw a couple landed. I'm thinking about heading farther up toward Marmot Dam and Cedar Creek tomorrow - thinking the fish may have migrated farther up river with the recent dry weather. Any thoughts or technique suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, MJ

Anybody been on the river since the hot weather arrived. Is it clear in the morning. How bad is she silting up from glacier melt?

i was up at oxbow on tuesday in the afternoon. it was somewhat clear at around 4pm with visibility to 3-4ft or so. the later it got, the worse it silted up. i didn't get anything (as usual) but a guy pitching spinners got a summer steelhead that was getting some color to it.
