Default garmin vista cx gps

ok so i go out and drop 300 bucks on this here color gps unit . and its the cats meow. but really the only problem is it has no nothin for streets . and they want 100 each for the topo and lakes & rivers . i cant really afford the extra 200 dollars . so i guess my question is does anyone have either of these to sell cheaper of just to borrow . thanks for reading this

That's pretty much the going rate. I have a Magellan Explorist 600. Nice unit, I was able to get the USGS topo which includes streets for $69. But charts are pretty spendy and only available in SD format, so swapping them out is a big pain.

I have a Rhino and I had to pay for the topo dataset and the streets as well. When you budget for a gps make sure you budget the extra 200 - 400 for the data sets you want for it as well.
