Default Washougal area report

Fished the Washougal/ Mouth of the Sandy area yesterday from about 11:30 til 6 with "Pete" and 'Hawgcatcher". Had a great time...Fishin' was good...catchin' wasn't. We had one good takedown on my rod, but no hookup. The algae and moss isn't as bad as I remember it last year. I'll be out there earlier tomorrow. Stop by and say "Hi" if you see me. Any other reports to share??

A buddy of mine fished that area today. Upriver brights are in now! To bad you can't keep them. He saw 2 50lbrs and he got one in the 35lbr range. Darn regulations anyway. Should be good in another month.

Hey Fishin Mission, great day out there with you and Pete. You taught me some good things and although no fish, the chatting and fish stories that you and Pete told me, made the day well worth while. Besides the old lady didn't complain about me smelling like fish. Thanks again.

Catch me if you can ... I'm going after it again today. I'll stay at least 20 feet from you're secret slot, FM ... and I won't mark it with a buoy, K?
