Any report from the Sandy or Clack?

We drifted the Clakamas today for steelhead. Got skunked...a few trout bites, and one solid chinook bite on the hookless diver (shrimp untouched), but nothing more.

Had the pleasure of drifting the Sandy tuesday afternoon with Smily a good time was had by us.We drifted from Dabney to Lewis & Clark,at least We managed to get wet and only suckers were caught.The River is like frog water.

********* pretty much covered it. Vis was poor (2 feet) as the river had muddied up some. Trout and smolts stole all of our sandshrimp and a chinook harassed our diver. ********* did manage to get a sucker on a plug, but that was the only fish of the day. Should be in great shape for the weekend. Saw 7 other people on the river thurday, but no one was reporting any success.

Thursday PM Dog Creek 11 landed for about 40 anglers.Our group lost 3.
Friday Mciver to Feldheimers.Sucked pole cats.
Bankies at Dog creek had 2 Boats 0 at 10 am when we left.4,000 fish in the Clack my ***.
Yesterday someone told me they are not going to raise SS at McIver after this year. Is this true ?
