You can get bait at the John Day ramp, the mobile bait shop usually is there about 0530.
Used to be some bait available at Tiki Charter office next to the port office.

Gotta add more good words for Tackle Time, you can call ahead and the best bait available will be waiting for you. Not that far from Astoria, and service with a smile!

Rosie at Ft. Stevens Charters in Hammond, She blesses them and boy do they catch fish, the rest of the bait stores sell them, all from the main supplier, but if I can get God on my side so much the better, I have been going to her shop for over 30 years and just being there is an experience...just go and enjoy....Steve

Tackle Time's bait is really great stuff and you learn so much from hanging out in there! STop by and tell Linda and Gene hi!
Rosalee too! I love going in there. When you go tell her Jennie of Tag's friend, says hi!
She is so great! I love her hat!
