Default Estuary Fish Camp?

Were thier plans to have an overnighter on some island. If not,are thier safe places to attempt this type of behavior. Nothing like meeting new folks around the bbq and campfire. Seems like it could very tricky to get good weather down there.

Sounds like fun....rememeber that most islands prohibit anything other than day use because of their refuge status. As far as I know it is ok to camp on the dredge spoils within this area.

Dredge spoils? Sounds nasty! I thought Jennie had mentioned this trip-event a while back. For legal reasons, it's best for us to get together as a group and leave the ifish out of it. Am I correct so far? With that said, where would the best location be located. I for one have not explored the area and look forward to hooking up with a couple of ifishers in the near future. My way of saying I need a lift, I'm not comfortable taking a 15' trihull out in the big water. The big water to me is inside the bar, I was out once in the estuary and that tide flat out rips.

Weather permitting, I'll be out friday and Saturday. I launch at Chinook and generally fish the Washington side from the cement boat to the Church but have been known to wander. Open blue Willie Predator.
Anyone else going to be down there? I scan on the radio and monitor 68, 71 and/or 72 when commercial traffic is taking over the scan.
