Default Kalama River Springers

Well I have to admit that Osprey and Hey_yall were right. I do remember what side of the River I came from.
I hit the Kalama River this afternoon and within a half hour I hooked 3 and landed 1. It was a nice 12lb. nickel bright springer. Too bad I cant ever do that while fishing in Oregon with the Hubby, Willierower...(sorry hun)
Also, sorry you cant be with me right now Willierower, the river is in good shape and the fish are hungry!!
Hopefully you can join me next week..

I want to thank the Kalama River Bait & Tackle for hookng me up with all my gear!

Not right my a$$....
I told hey_yall and Osprey that I am the true hook setter in the family and I am proving it to be true. I will try to save some fish for you but it will be tough for I will be on the river everyday for the next week. So sorry you have to work!

Yea leave me home with the kids (dog, cat, rabbit, and chickens) While you go out and have fun I guess im going to have to work some OT to pay for your fun.
Get dialed in n the fishso you can show me when I get there.

Joey and I are hitting the river in the morning to put on a summer steelhead clinic. Then Loomis and i are going to try to put some hurt on some springers on tuesday. Loomis will sent in the front of the boat a bark everytime I hook up.

Ok now, since I am truly the one who catches all the fish, I think it be only fair that itsMR. NW_rvrbank_Babe and not Mrs. WR.

Come on guys, lets be fair here.

Great Job!

What she meant by holding down the fort, was actually holding onto the river for ya Rower, until you showed up, right?

We'll have to hook up and hit the Kal before y'all head back south. Good to hear that you found a cure for those withdrawals. BTW - I told Paul to tell ya that the manicotti turned out exxxxcceeellllleeent. Thanks for the recipe.

I think I need to clarify something. I am not wanting to be called Mr., silly. Everyone addresses me as Mrs. WR, but I think they should address WR as MR NW_rvrbank_Babe. Who made him king?....lol
BTW, glad you love the manicotti Redneck, and I hope to see you here. I will show you how reel women catch fish...lol

Oh this is not good. First of all she catches a nice springer. Then she demands that I be Call MR. NW_rvrbankbabe. Then she goes and talks to the fish gods. I dont know what she said to them but they were not nice to me at all this morning. I hooked 1 steelhead and 2 nookers. They were on just long enough for me to see them and tease me before they escaped. 2 broken leaders and 1 of the nooks literally spit my stuff back at me. I think Im going to hide for a while.
