Did not see anything going on around us and very little presure. We did manage to put a 10# Steelheed in the box.

SG, where exactly is Frenchman's Bar? Is that that beach area on the Wash. side below Kelly Point? Where do you launch? Is the current flow decent there? What did you get the steelie on? Thanks .

Yes that is the park, Current was not very good at all. Just a little thump on the X-4 red in color. Most people launch by the St Johns Bridge or 42nd and Marine Dr. or the one in the Port of Vcr. There is a very underdeveloped one just down river from the Park on the Washington side

SG Were you across the river from our Strugeon hole or were you in the sturgeon hole? STZII will be home next weekend and we might want to go out. Of course with the Ocean open now, STZII may want to go Coho fishing and me chumming. Pete and I will take about it later. We will be in touch.

Hi Tracy,

On the Washinton side just below the park. Check the tides.....Even with the large outgoing tide we had last weekend the current was very slow.
I am thinking of fishing above Camas this week to get a little more current...or even at Jeff's place. It should be good!

Saw several boats in that area Monday that seemed to be doing little other than blowing sidewise.

Fished there today amongst all the 4th of July activities with no luck. Water flow was good too.

But I have to say it was a fantastic day for watching everyone celebrate the 4th!!

Happy Birthday America!!
