this may not be the right place to ask but i figure since it will be my new duck boat the hunting forum is the place.now i have heard a different answer about everytime i have asked this question and i would really love to get the answer.so here it is.i have a 12 foot jon boat.i only want to put a little minn kota trolling motor on it.no gas just electric motor.do i need to license the boat?thanks guys
Here is the Oregon rule for reference. Pretty cut and dry like Ablaone stated... if you use a motor, it must be registered... even a dinky little float tube believe it or not!
