I gotta get a crew together but I guess I'm in. Will somebody tell the weather Gods to let this tourney happen. I wanna kick Trackers Butt this year and have a special award made up just for him.

Re: Columbia River/Hammond Tuna and OTC
We're also looking for volunteers to help set up Friday. Traffic control and fish weigh in Saturday and take down/clean up.
Hoping for great weather and great fishing.

Re: Columbia River/Hammond Tuna and OTC
Bob, are you going to have boat inspections around Hammond?

I haven.t confirmed it yet but last year the Coast Guard was at all the launches doing inspections on the first weekend in August. I will post it here when I know for sure. However it would be best to avoid the rush and do it this weekend or next, somewhere near you.

Re: Columbia River/Hammond Tuna and OTC
I have tried to get it done here in Garibaldi. There is no Coast Guard Auxillary group here and the Coast Guard won't do an inspection. (not the voluntary type anyway)

Re: Columbia River/Hammond Tuna and OTC
Just a little info...
The Warrenton Business Association has generously helped us in funding this year and there will be a very large tent set up at the Hammond boat ramp. The Captains meeting and BBQ will again be hosted by the Rogue Brewery.
Likewise if you have a spouse or significant other who is not fishing but would like to attend we have need for a few volunteers. They don't have to work all the time as there is various things to do...IE..hang banners friday afternoon, weigh fish from 4-6 on sat., help set up chairs...etc.
Hope to see you there.
