Default Winchester Bay salmon

Don't know how to say it any other way, but Winchester Bay rocks! Crossed the bar at 7, flatter than I've ever seen it on a minus outgo and I've fished there for 20 years. Ran for less than an hour, boated 1 Chinook, 17 Coho, took 9 of them in less than two hours. Fished for tuna Thursday and Friday out of Newport and fished salmon Sat out of Windy Bay. Carking stations looks the same wherever you go - tuna everywhere!

9 hours of sleep in three days, 7 hours carking tuna - time to get some shut eye before I start again on Wednesday out of Depoe.

sashimi!

Great job guys....I only get to spend a week a year down there but I wish I could go every weekend. I have actually thought about making another run down there but the $$ are just not in the old budget.
Killer fishing and great little community there in the bay.

Ya man my boss is the best. Fish bite, ocean lays down and I'm gone and when I get back I still have a job. This has been going on as long as I can remember. Work better with fish, without fish can't seem to concentrate on work. Some people live to fish. {I live fish} Fishing is my life! Plus I have a very understanding wife that loves to fish also.
