Scroll down to the post by PeaceLoveFishing. There are gps coordinates for the rockpile which is where the Coho will be.

I posted these #'s in another thread with '0' political content. Maybe that's why it got no play.

Accessed from Newport, 16 miles out at the rockpile. If you don't mind the drive and you have to have a limit of Silver, this is the spot.

So after you bag a limit of silvers, you can tear up the bottom fish. Last summer this place produced 6 or 8 fish limits in an hour or less. It wasn't even light out and we were heading back in.

The other thing to do is run west until you get to 150ft or more of water. Look for birds or slick lines and start trolling. I plan on giving this fishery hell while it lasts and I'll post the results here.

BTW Joe, we usually get quite a few 'ho's' on a mooching leader. I rig a bunch of them anyway. We pre rig 4-6 rigs for each fisher and ice them. That way you don't have to slow down to bait up when all hell breaks loose. Just snap the next leader on your flasher and go.
