Something Good Awesome Tuna Trip
Thuan, thanks again for a day I will not forget. Saturday July 14th we landed 46 Tuna and I wanted to keep going but the ice was gone. You have a ureal boat and run it very well. Hopefully the other guys will get the pictures posted. And yes I did do a little whining about my arms, shoulders and forearms burning, but I landed about 20 tuna on rod and reel and was ready for more. Thanks Chinook Nut or Max Ebb. Was great seeing so many I fishers on the ocean and back at the docks.

Re: Something Good Awesome Tuna Trip
I always enjoy having good crew on board. Makes my day very relaxing. We couldn't have broken a boat record without you nor would we have tried. Glad you wanted to take so much tuna home for your family. Have you got those 18 tuna canned yet?

Re: Something Good Awesome Tuna Trip
I will echo CH-nut in saying WOW!!!
What a great day.
Thuan makes a little island with coolers in the middle of the fighting deck. At a lull in the afternoon, I was snoozing on my back, laying on these coolers with my head pointed at the stern. It wasn't long till I was awakened by the sound of spooling line, and when I opened my eyes, all I could see was bent over rods from my upside down position. I will never forget that feeling...Quads all day long....what a rush.
I'll also never forget tossing a beating heart at Evan and him catching it nonchalantly in his mouth....LOL...too funny.
Thuan put us on fish and kept us there all day. I've never had so much fun working my arse off.
Great crew, boat, and of course great captain! (just not enough ice)...LOL
Thuan, thanks for the excellent day at sea. I'll be thinking about you guys whacking and stacking while I'm away. Don't have too much fun.
Later
Jon

Looks like you had a great trip Thuan. Seems like we have been friends for years and we have never really met. Started off talking with you over my boat problems and have fished next to you out on the big blue for Halibut and Tuna several times one of thes days i will run in to you back on land.

Nice numbers Thuan. Don't ya love it when the crew wants more? Even bring their own ice and cooler.

Re: Something Good Awesome Tuna Trip
Here are some pics for you Kurt.
Beautiful sunrise to start the day.
Can someone grab that rod I'm posing for a picture here.
Luckily Evan used to be a deck hand so he was able to stand long enough for a picture in these conditions.

Re: Something Good Awesome Tuna Trip
Yes, I probably should change my name to tuna nut, because I'm ready to go again and again and don't want to work just go tuna fishing. The dark side has grabbed me hard. Thanks for the pictures Thuan
