Squidapult...

I am looking to modify a good reliable slingshot into a squidapult. My thought is to use the heads and tentacles of my squid bait in a high trajectory launch at the stern of wake makers. Does anyone have any prototype designs they would be willing to share? Do you think there is a minimum draw weight? Also, if I were to do this do you think I would be at risk for being sited for chumming?

Well, Pete, guess I put my foot in it. I hope anyone reading the post would see that it was written tongue-in-cheek. Can you possibly imagine a 58 year old man heaving squid heads with a slingshot? Have we become so jaundiced that an attempt to make light of a frustrating situation becomes viewed as promoting or supporting an illegal act?

For the most part no. The problem we have here is that "somebody" is less intelligent than the rest of us. And they will think it's a great idea. And somebody else will think it wasn't such a good idea and contact a lawyer. And that lawyer will overlook the idiocy of the perp and file. And to explain the idiocy the perp will say "I read it on ifish and nobody said it was a bad idea".

THAT'S why we do what we do. Even though 90% of us understand the intent.
