9.9 johnson kicker problem

Went crabbing at newport the last 2 days, kicker would stop running. As long as i keep my hand on pump ball and pump it, it would keep running fine. Bought a new gas tank and new hose and new gas but still had same problem. It seemed to loose pressure from tank any ideals i would welcome. Do i need a new fuel pump maybe? need help going to the cr in 3 weeks need my kicker for that place.

Did you replace the primer bulb as well?

What year engine? 2 strokes or 4?

Yes replaced the whole gas line went over to englands and dean my good freind fixed me up, and its and older model 2 sroke.

1 is there inline filter on the Motor - replace if has been a while.
2 try diffient tank/hose if available
3 Also there might be a fuel screen on the motor that got plugged up

Tried new tank and hose assembly. Filter screen looks like brand new. I will try other thing u said. thanks
