Default Don Hill Mini Drifter good deal or bad?

So are they any good? I just bought one sight unseen since I need a boat for the summer runs. This is the fiberglass 10' one. I don't think this one is a kit. I already have a trailer that will work great from the old puma raft. Used 3 times excellent condition. Good deal or bad? Seemed like a great deal to me. Suppose to sell new for $2000...I got it for $800 on ebay

Sounds like a good deal Marty. They are a pretty good whitewater boat. Bill Herzog has had a couple of them and he told me they take pretty big whitewater suprisingly well. They are also light enough at 135 lbs. that you can get out and drag them over shallow exposed rocks fairly easily. I am also going to look at a used one this week and may get it. Should be a fun little boat, and good for low water use.
