First of all----
Thanks to all of you that offered information & assistance and even a lead rope for me to get out the hole at Depoe for the first time in about 3 decades!

I lost my wired VHF about 8Am as soon as I hit the transmit button to answer an ifisher lookin for others , so I was not on 78 after that, no idea why. Ain't gonna let it bother me. New boat problems is all. I wudda said hello if not for that to all of yous.
We fished a great rip in about 200ft , (along with about every other salmon boat out there) hard for ZERO. Not even a bump. Flashers, no flashers, whole herring, cut Herring , squid, nothing! I think that rip continued on all the way to Mexico, huh? It was long. But dang it was gorgeous out there. We fished from 20' to 80'. We heard of 2 fish before the radio left us, and saw one knocked off by the net next to us-- I hate that! Bet that wasn't a G-rated conversation after that. Wonder where they went? Let me know how you got them, cause I know you did.
We were very very tired on almost no sleep so we hung it up at about 10 and got back to do the work and am now sittin here with the perverbial barley pop writin this
Can't wait to hear the tuna reports.
Mike- sorry I couldn't do more there this AM. Friday the 13th I guess
Thanks again to the Salty Dogs beers on me
