Default Timothy Lake information please

Thinking about fly fishing this lake and need some info on it. Do you need a float tube? What kind of fly patterns do you prefer?
Thanks
Stew

Timothy is high in the mountains and gets some decent wind ... a float tube can be nice at times, but you may find yourself sailing far far away if you aren't careful.

If I were to pack two patterns for Timothy I'd bring dragonfly nymphs and caddis pupa.

For a good read on lake fishing with a fly, check out "Lake Fishing with a Fly" by Ron Cordes and Randall Kaufmann.

Geez, sometimes I wonder how publishers come up with these outlandish book titles that have nothing to do with the book subject.
