Advertising

I'd like to remind everyone about the IFish policy on advertising. In light of some recent post, thought this would help clarify the postition.

"Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on this bulletin board".

IFish and the moderators, have a responsibility to protect the interest of the paid advertisers who support IFish. Without those paid avertising dollars, IFish may cease to exist. This is a free site and I for one would like to see it stay that way. But without advertisers support something would have to change.

Please help us keep IFish alive and well with a few simple ideas.

1) Remind others about the advertising policy when the post cleary is a solicitation.

2) Use the classified section to list items for sale. Remind other to do the same.

3) Support the advertisers. They offer some great products/accomodations/services that we use throughout the year.

4) Become a IFish advertiser. It's a win win situation. Not only are you supporting IFish, your recieving exposure to thousands of future customers.

By helping our advertisers, you are supporting IFish. I know Jennie doesn't ask much from us in support and the least we could do is follow these few simple guidelines.
