Default Electric Trolling Motor Oil?
Just took the drain plug off...does anyone know if I should use a specific type...maybe the hi-vis gearcase lube oil for the lower end of my outboard? It's an old (15yrs) Merc, with no other markings. Probably puts out about 65lbs. thrust. Thanks.

Called Mercury in WI this morning...it actually takes Type A automatic transmission fluid! Go figure.
