As I recall (double check my facts before quoting me), Gov. Kitzhaber sought $2.4 billion to maintain the current effort. Sounds like we only get 1/4 of what was needed. This money traditionally has gone to pay for a wide variety of programs, including power revenue lost to "spill".

Then W has to sign it ... it's no done deal. Sounds good though, maybe we can buy some water for BPA

Thanks for the news Nannook. Now if the Senate will back it and make it happen. Lets start sending letters to our senators and remind them that sports fisherpeople (politically Correct)are spending a lot of money in these port towns with charters as well as lodging and meals, bait shops, gas, etc.
