Here I was sitting around feeling sorry for myself cus,I couldn't go fishing cus my wife and doctor said do not go by yourself yet,I guess with a cast and all it wouldn't be very smart.WHEN all of a suuden a friend calls and says,HEY lets go fishing on the lewis on the 14th so,I pleaded with my wife(not really)a little maybe.And guess what, I hooked me a 15lb summer steely on sand shrimp. Hi guys,we were anchored right in front of cedar creek about 30ft straight out from the rock.It wasn't very crowded at all.About 7 boats and the same off the bank.Most of the fish being caught were springer jacks about 12-14",we left around 9:00 the sun was full on the water and the fish were gone.Need to be fishing before daylight.We got there about 5:00 AM should have been there by 4:00
Oh WEll next time.Good luck.I don't know how mush water there letting out the river was low tho.My friend caught 6 fish in his boat and lost two by 8:30 three days ago so they all limited that day [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]Same old story I'm always a couple days late [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img].Had a great time you don't know how much you miss it untill you can't do it anymore.I'll be really glad when,I finally get a walking cast.I will be fishing steelhead in the columbia and fall salmon FOR SURE !!!.See ya there [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
