Ocean access near Pacific City?

If a person had a boat (non dory), where would be the nearest ocean access point from Pacific City? I was thinking netarts, but don't know how difficult or what actual access is available. I read a post a couple months back that indicated access from the mouth of the nestucca isn't a good option, and I can't think of anywhere down south before Depot bay would work.

Old Coot is right. Tillamook is the closest spot.

However, before you head that far south from Tillamook, think hard about the pounding you're gonna take heading back with the NW wind on your bow. :shocked: :shocked: :shocked:
