07/07/07 hit the jackpot (report w/ pics)

Went fishing today with my brother and my dad. We got a late start today because my dad had to go to work in the morning, we got to the lake at about 10 am. After about 15 minutes of fishing I hook into a big 7 lber, this fish was my personal record. The very next cast I hooked in to an 8 lb 1 oz PIG, my new personal record. Later that day my brother cast the lure in and got one 5 lbs 7oz his personal best. A little later I hooked into a nice 5 lb 13 oz largy. My dad only caught one dink. I also caught a 3.5 lber and a 2.5 lber. My five fish total was 26 lbs 14 oz, I think I did pretty good today.

Way to go! we saw you on the lake, didn't know that was you. You were the only other boat fishing that I saw. We were in the jon boat. Looks like it was kicking out some serious pigs today!

Great fish! and some real monsters! So lets hear how ya caught them! I love brag posts, too, but just curious what types of lures you decided to use... cranks, topwater, plastics drug along the bottom, etc?

That lake sure looks alot like South Tenmile.... and I have caught my personal best out of that lake.

I have fished a couple of mornings at a private lake out past Beavercreek over the last two weeks and have caught two six pounders and several smaller fish. Pretty fun in a float tube when they go through your legs.
