Default Saturday Depoe Coho- Hot again

Just another FYI for you coho fishers. The bite out of Depoe was once again on fire this morning. Took us about an hour to get 8 nice coho this morning, and only had to run loose 3 or 4 unclipped fish.

35-45 fathom line North of Depoe. Fast troll, and hardware has been very productive.

One boat went to look at the 50-60 fathom line for just a tad warmer water and didn't get any action. We only were able to get 4 rods out a couple times. Plenty of doubles with 2 or 3 rods in the water.

Water was plenty manageable for those that have experience.

Fished Garibaldi yesterday and we managed to get our six fish. Started about 5:30am and had our limit by 11:30pm. Tried to fish out but decided against battling the swells. Ran out to 250ft. and fished back and it was a lot easier. Added 18 carb (all hard) to our fish and it made a real good day.

That's hard work for coho, 17 hours of fishing!

Still good on Sunday, Started at 215' 3kts NW released 2 nat, had several come unbuttoned, worked NW to 265' & found a steady supply of Hatchery fish, 8 Coho #4 to #8 by 8:30, Hot pink Hoochie with a strip of Herring worked best, 12 to 18 pulls 3.5 to 4kts.

Thanks for the report guys. If a tuna seat doesn't come open, I'll be after coho this Saturday.
