Default Sturgeon Pauls Sardines

I had a hard time finding good solid sardines last year. After salting and curring they were soft and smelled old.Has anyone used Sturgeon Pauls? Its a three and a half hour trip to Warrington from Seattle but I would make the trip for some good bait. Were do you I-Fishers from the SEA-Tac area get your herring and dines? The sardines that Sturgeon Pauls is selling at the Portland show are beautiful. Best I've ever seen.
