Default Astoria Sturgeon

A couple of weeks ago the best bite for the Astoria area was on the Oregon side and up stream from the bridge. Does anyone have some more recent information as to where the fish may be and depth to fish. I'm guessing down stream of the bridge on the Oregon side, and perhaps above the bridge on the Washington side. I'll be taking a young man from Maryland, and would sure like to see him catch his first sturgeon, make that legal sturgeon. Thought of going for oversized, but don't want to scare him.
