we had 2 bald eagles in the back yard this winter eyeing the wifes dogs.
I think her dogs are bigger than that miniature deer.

That is pretty darned amazing - watching them go end over end, and the bird coming out on top and seemingly uninjured by the tumble!

Looks like a Roe deer. The biggest ones are about 60lbs. So it is the equivalent of an eagle killing a medium sized dog. Pretty impressive!

Even if it is a smaller deer, it is still pretty amazing.

Nice! I especially liked the guys reasoning and use of 3rd grade science and the term carnivore. It sounded like a lot of dialogue that I use on people that say, "oh no, your going to kill bambie?"

I saw a show where an eagle grabbed a newborn or young mountain goat that was on a steep rock face and the goat is actually to heavy for the eagle to hold for a long distance flight, so it just grabs it and pulls it out and away from the cliff and kind of flies in a downward motion and then the eagle drops the baby goat to its death and goes down in to the canyon for .

Pretty amazing watching the gracefulness of an eagle at work. Know not only do I have to be alert for cougars in the woods when hunting, but Eagles in the sky. I would hate to have an eagle take my Stormy Kromer off my head.
