Default Wednesday skeet shoot 7/11/07

Alright everyone...I kinda hinted around on another thread about doing this and I wanted to put some feelers out there to see how many people would be interested.

Who would be interested in getting together one week from today (Wednesday 7/11) and doing some trap/skeet shooting at the Hillsboro Gun Club? And if so, what time would be the best for you...morning, early afternoon, or later in the evening?

If I see we have enough interest, I'll put up a poll and we'll go from there. It would be nice to meet some of you other IFISH'ers and put names to faces/monikers. One condition though...you have to have thick skin, because when you miss, expect to be taunted and laughed at. It will all come back around though, as you guys will have plenty to laugh at when i'm up shooting...trust me

Aaron, count me in. I can be laughed at with the best of em.

Late morning/early afternoon would be best for me.

Aaron, I'll show up since I work around the corner at JF.
Lunch time or afternoon would be fine.

I could make it, it would have to be late afternoon or early evening.

C'mon guys. This is a great way to show your shooting prowess as well as give some ribbing to those less skilled with the scattergun. Besides, you might just meet someone that could be your next hunting partner for a number of years.

if you guys do it in the afternoon (early is fine too) I may be able to make it.

But I do have one question: Aaron is such an ammo conservationist that I truly wonder if he'll pull the trigger on the clay pigeons???

Wink Re: Wednesday skeet shoot 7/11/07

Actually with Aaron being the ammo conservationist that he is, he'll probably pull a sneak on the traps and then flock shoot em.:lau gh:

I don't want to be a highjacker but does tri valley shoot that night? Alot more variety with five stand, skeet and many other shot options. Just a thought. I would like to bust some clay so I'll keep an eye on this. How about mitchell's tomorrow?

Maybe we could move it around to different clubs every month?? Hillsboro this month, Tri-Valley in August, Mitchell's in September. Come October though, we'll have the live ones to shoot at

Dang...if I didn't have something already planned, I might do Mitchell's with ya tomorrow Next time though

Shouldn't everyone make it to Mitchell's in August for the sporting clays shoot at the OWF.

Good idea, but instead of every month, let's make it each week, or every other week. By September I will be in full swing. Honkers from the second weekend for 10 days and then off to Canada!!!

Question Re: Wednesday skeet shoot 7/11/07

So, what's the consensus? Throw a time out there and see how that works. I know it's supposed to be a scorcher but if we shoot now, the early goose season will seem kinda cool. How about 2PM? Post replies and let us know if that works.
