Who have you fished with?
BigStew posted some of his friends he met from ifish on the Roll Call thread. I tried to figure out who I have fished with from the board. I have made a lot of good friends from ifish. Here is the list of people I have fished out of a boat with that I did not know before ifish.
Gizmo Man (Willamette, Columbia)
Fishbait (Columbia)
Waterdog (Columbia)
Zaq (Trask, Kilchis, Sandy, Columbia)
Fish_on (Trask)
fobbman (Willamette)
steeliesteve (Willamette)
saltwater cowboy (Columbia)
BillH (Wilson)
Rickh75 (Willamette)
Ramstrong (Hoodsport, Willamette, Satsop)
Crusty (Willamette)
Spooled (Clackamas)
BigStew (Willamette)
Hookset (S Santiam, Willamette)
FishinMission (Willamette)
Mr Fisherman (Tillamook Bay)
HotTamale (Willamette)
Fishy Fingers (Tillamook Bay)
Petermac (Willamette, Tillamook Bay)
Rt (Trask)
I guess I get around I hope I didnt miss anybody. There have been other trips like Floatilla II and the jetty fishing trip where I was around other ifishers.
Anybody else care to share who they have fished with. This little trip down memory lane had brought back some good memories for me.

Re: Who have you fished with?
Well, let's see......I've fished with:
Eric (grays harbor rivers)
Eric (columbia r. springers/sturgeon/buoy 10)
Eric (olympic penninsula rivers)
Eric (santiam summer-runs)
Eric (oregon coast winter-runs)
Eric (kalama river summer-runs)
no, fellas I'm not an anti-social hermit. It's just I fish alot by myself and with a few long time friends who aren't on the board.
HOWEVER, I would love to hook up with alot of you and do some trips; Oregon and Washington. When you don't know anyone personally, it's kind of awkward approaching someone. It's like your inviting yourself. Just need the planets to line up right and maybe we will all cross paths.
Short of sporting an IFISH sticker or attending a floatilla it's damn near impossible to know who anyone is......which is unfortunate because alot of you seem like you would be a kick in the pants to fish with.
Maybe someday!

That's how I'll turn this into cash!
That'll be five bucks per friend!
Oh no! Do I have to pay too?
EEEEEESH!
That'd be expensive!

Re: Who have you fished with?
I've had the pleasure of fishing with:
Jeffhead
RT
Os
Redneck
Kid Sauk
Parker, the Steelhead King
'fly
and maybe others that won't pop into my feeble mind right now.
I also met some nice folks at the Nisqually Board Meeting and the frozen Floatilla. I'm looking forward to Justin's hoopla up on the Sauk and the Floatilla(s) coming up later in the summer or fall.
Everybody I've met have been great people. It's nice to have a pool of guys to call and fish with I even showed Redneck how he could use his crappie and carp tactics to catch searun cutts. And he even got shaken around by an earthquake last time we were out

Being retired can fish most any time so if someone is looking to share an experience or two, send me an email.

Re: Who have you fished with?
I've been able to fish with:
Rippenlips (everywhere there's water)
BOE (Willamette Satsop Hoodsport)
Dan! (Columbia)
Wheresmybobber (Willamette)
Smokey (Floatilla S Santiam)
and the Mike's briefly after the floatilla on the S Santiam.
Great bunch here on ifish, I've enjoyed every trip with another ifisher, and now for a limited time I'm unemployed. So if anyone is looking to go fishing look no farther. I can drive a boat, back a trailer and have my own gear.

Re: Who have you fished with?
Mr. Bait O' Eggs, "I have boat will travel" looks to take home the top prize so far. Must be those Portland area connections are really paying off.
This post brings up a good point and the reason behind the seldom used "Trip Trader". The trader was intended to provide a forum where IFisheers could get together to exchange trips. I don't want to take up space on this thread to discuss the trip trader, just think about this the next time you have space.
For some reason, I've only fished with a few IFishers.
Salmonator, Mr. BOE and another I've lost contact with last winter on he Nesttuca. I still owe him a trip, just no email address or name? Guess living in the southern Valley has it's benifits!
