Okuma rods(one more time)

Allright, since I posted a negative thread on Okuma rods I thought i'd better tell the rest of the story.I e-mailed Okuma as well as Leehosports, where I purchased the rod, as I had mentioned.It took several days, but I did hear back yesterday by telephone from May at Leeho.She spoke with Okuma and they are willing to give me a credit for the price of the rod plus tax, plus shipping, towards another rod.Returning the rod would be cost prohibitive to both Okuma and me.The rep. at Okuma assured me in his e-mail that the poor workmanship was an exception and not the norm.I was also told that there have not been any complaints like mine regarding the rods.Am I feeling picky or what?So alls well that ends well I guess.Just wanted to set the record straight!Bye, for now.
