Default Off to ifish!

I am headed out to Memaloose with contest winner Matt Hunter and Bill. There will be fish, RIGHT???!!!!
I've got my camera, is that bad luck?
Who knows?
All I know is that repeating, "Here, fishy, fishy!" has yet to produce a bite.
I am not wearing hand lotion, but I am sticking to the brandied cherry lip stick.
They will ALL be wearing it by days end!
I will report any biters on this fishery right here later!
Talk to me about trailor lights, does everyone battle them constantly?
Bill put sealed truck lights on his and seems to be having better luck.
Jen

Hey Jen, weekday fishing good! The only thing I have found to save the trailor lights is to unplug them before launching the boat. Leaving them on/Hot before dunking them in the water blows them everytime. You ride the brakes backing down the ramp so they are hot when you get to the water. The 12v on the bulbs eats them up as well when you launch in saltwater.

I hardly ever have to change them or mess with them since I started doing this.

Good luck and have fun.

There was a discussion of Trailer Lights a few days ago which might be of interest.

You can make a set of portable lights that attach to the transom on either side of the motor and thats the end of the problem forever, I think you can buy them pretty cheap if you want them already made up.

Just take Pilar's suggestion and unplug them. I have been doing this for quite some time and never have problems with my trailer lights.
