Welcome aboard Stump! We'll have to go back to the tagname the next time we do that thread. Check out 'Roll Call' and add to that if you want.

Whatever you do, don't be shy!!

You may know more than you think. People come here and talk about what they do and we all learn from it. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome stump, tell us a story, and we dont care if it starts with "Once upon a time". Fishing is slow and if we are not telling stories we end up fighting amongst ourselves.

Wow what a nice welcome from you members! Thank you. I thought I was in an Alanon meeting there for a second. Just kidding. I got the stump nickname because I'm short and stout, like some of the beer I drink. It was from well meaning friends when younger. It has nothing to do with politics . Thanks again. Stump

Howdy Stump,

As you may have figured out, we like stories. It kind of helps break the ice too.

I think I'll start a new thread....

"There I was....."

Hey all, are you paying attention?

Roy, remember that crabbing trip?

Hmmm...

Here I go...

No fish stories, whats the matter with all of you. I have been fishing the almighty Baker Creek for the last two weeks and have landed 56 nooks weight in excess of 50 lbs. each not to mention all of oversized sturgeon i have been catching. I have been in my 9 ft willie boat and most of the fish wont fit in it. The only problem i have had is the 200HP motor lets water in over the transom so i have to put the fish in the bow to level the boat out. Maybe i should get a bigger boat.I dont suppose any of you are going to beleave this and thats ok because the first liar never stands a chance anyway.HEE HEE HEE ps, caught em all on a 8' vinemaple branch and safety pin with a grasshopper.

WaterDog, I didn't think any of you flatlanders knew about our local hotspots. Cozine is pretty slow for Browns but if you fish in the right place lets say around the fill area an maybe a little south east some fantastic worm soaking can take place. Dont give our secret away now or we will have all of the other guys down here hornin in on us.
