TUNA! Landed on a Broken Rod - Video

In my other thread about our trip Saturday, I mentioned landing our 24th TUNA! on a broken spinning rod. This was my first fish on a swim bait after making several attempts throughout the day.

No need to slam my crew there Roy. I told him at that point I didn't care how he got it in the boat, just get to get it....broken rod and a *** reel, one more sounding and that fish may have been history. Gotta take what you can get sometimes.

Glad to see that wasnt the rod I gave you! When I read your post I was thinking I may have given that rod a death sentance when I handed it over.

that guy on the gaff was pretty good looking even though it was a panic situation. shromoflage str. awesome video ,thanks for the trip kerry it was unbelieveable (just so you know i am not sore it was just a little cramp)who reeled in the last three fish???????????
