Default Newport 6/30 report

Headed 25 miles nw to the tuna action, deployed first line in, got bit before we could get another line in, stepson Jason caught his first tuna!

Had seven in the box by 10am, when the bite slowed down.

Don't need no washdown pump.
Traveled further nw to plug the boat with 21. Ended up 33 miles nw of Newport. Fun day with a great crew!

Started at 44 54, 124 38, ended at 44 58, 124 36. Mex flag and zuccinie. Fish seemed to be spread over a large area. Good luck to you, I brought 150 lbs of ice.

Good job, nice report. I am hoping to chase tuna this year for the first time.
