I just want to offer up my thanks and Kudos to the men and women at USCG Station Depoe Bay for your assist today. 4.5 miles from the hole on the way back in, I ran over a crab pot line, and wrapped up in my screws. :frown::blush: I was basically stuck and going nowhere....could not reach safely to get the line untwisted...so got onto the Radio for our dear friends with the USCG. They sent out a motor lifeboat and transferred one crewman over to my boat who with some good skillful work managed to untwist the line from my screw and allowed me to get back underway on my own power.
To those of you with our local Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay, I say thank you. I'll bring ya a couple of TUNA loins tomorrow as thanks as well.
