10 yr SST compare. Exotics maybe?

I was looking at the SST trend over the last 10 years. This could be the year for ......????? What will it bring us? There is no connection from Japan to South America so far....it's pointing straight at us. All shots are between 6/27-7/1 of there respected year. What are your thoughts?

that 2004 SST makes me think the Fishing must have been off the hook up here.... To bad Im so late in getting to the party....!

We have had a lot of good years the past 10, only 99, & 98 were cold. This year so far they are wedged/bottlenecked right at us, couldn't ask for a better scenerio.

I would like to see 1997. That was the year a striped Marlin was caught 30 miles off of Westport WA.

Also last year one of the Salty Dogs caught a durado off the Columbia didnt they.

I think it is entirely possible to catch something like a Marlin, Durodo, 100+# Bluefin, or ???????

Yeah! 97 was a very warm water year.

Sure It's Possible, & I'm Sure more YellowTail will show this year along with more Bluefin, probable even a few Dorado, but The water Isn't all that warm this year...yet, We just have a favorable flow going right now, we'll see how it shapes up.

So the big difference I see with 97 and the other years is the warm water tie in between Mexico and the NW. I wonder if the warm water path up the coast line may be the key. This year doesnt look like it will shape up to have a good neer coastal connection.
