hey everyone,great site,alot of good stuff on here.a little about me,i was born and raised in the willamette valley and started fishing for steelhead with my dad and grandpa when i was 5 or so,we fished the nestuc'mostly,also the santiams,when i became old enough to drive that opened up alot more rivers to me,since then i have caught salmon/steelhead in the wilson,trask,kilchis,miami,n.f.nehalem,big nehalem,necanicum,3 rivers,s.f.coos,rogue,alsea,siletz and of course the willamette and columbia.i now live in klamath falls,so as you know i don't have all of my beloved rivers at my reach,my poor drift boat has been reduced to a catch all in the shop,at christmas time we go up to visit my inlaws for a week so i get with the boys and do a steelhead trip or two and usally shoot ducks also,we were not able to make it up this year do to the fact that we had new puppies show up the 1st of dec.i am a pro dog trainer and the new guys held me at home,so as you can imagine i am jones'n for some steel,i check in here daily and read your posts and look at your pics (makes feel like im there with ya)i don't know too many people in k.f that steelhead fish,so if any of you in medford,grantspass or general area would like to get together sometime and share some time on the water with me let me know,great site and keep those fishing stories and tips coming,i really enjoy them.(p.s. check out ifish trophy page,the picture with the 3 bulls together,the picture with 2 of us in it thats me on the right) :grin:
