Default Depoe Sat AM, Bar Crossing

Looking at the tide, it looks like a real low Ebb in the morning. Ive never fished out of oregon before,

So, what say you, about what to expect? Will the Bar be closed there at max ebb?

Should a guy just plan on a late start after the low at about 0700? or leave at the crack of dawn at 0400 and try and get out before max ebb?

Sorry about all the questions guys, But im trying to make the most out of my trip down there...

Your only problem will be how low! There really is no ebb problem at Depoe! If it is a minus tide, you will want to be out of there before the low because it get real skinny in a low! Still no ebb though!

Yes! as long as the swell & wind is not too bad.

For small boats, low tide at Depoe is not really an issue. You can go out at the max low and still be fine as long as there is no big swell. It is REAL skinny, but it won't be any different an hour before or after.
